Fluting

“Something having grooves in its surface”

The fluting process involves simultaneous embossing and foiling with the same tool. Laser engraving technology is used in the tool making process to create micro-structures in the embossing tool which are then transferred to the foiled surface. This adds special decorative effects to printed areas.
