Laminates

“A print laminate is a protective or decorative material applied as an additional layer to the surface of another substance bonded together by heat or adhesive”

A laminate is usually applied to seal, protect or change the texture or finish of the surface of the label or carton. As is the case in the print industry, a laminate will normally consist of a clear self-adhesive film that is applied to the surface of a printed label/carton surface.

Can be used in conjunction with Foilingembossingflutingvarnishing

Laminates at Lotus Labels:

Most standard laminates are matt or gloss but we also see an increased interest in special materials with soft-touch, rough-touch and built-in features such as glitter, frost and lens effects – all of which can be applied on our print-finishing lines.
